Theater fans can now play a theatrical version of fantasy football, setting up “leagues” at TonyAwards.com to predict who will win the Tony Awards – and potentially winning prizes. Maybe you’ve read this and thought a theatre version of fantasy football isn’t your thing. That’s fine, as you can still check out sites like DraftKings and finally get round to playing fantasy football! You won’t know what you’re missing out on if you don’t give it a go.

The free game, launched by Audience Rewards and the Tony Awards, lets fans play the game for free, leading up to the June 10 Tony Awards live on CBS.

“For anyone who loves Broadway, we think it’s a lot of fun to be able to play along with the Tonys,” said Audience Rewards CEO Charles Flateman. “It’s like fantasy football for theatre fans.”

Throughout the telecast, players will see how they rank compared to other players as the awards advance toward a conclusion.

Players who correctly guess all 26 categories could win free Broadway tickets for a full year. But there’s an easier way to win.

“Regardless of accuracy, all players will also be entered to win two tickets to the invitation-only 2019 Tony Awards dress rehearsal,” organizers said.

“We’re thrilled to give theatergoers the chance to share their enthusiasm with friends and family through this game,” Flateman said.
